Fundraising

This year the preference for RevUp 2022 is to support a National Charity. After reviewing how several worked the team felt

that the Irish Wheelchair Association was a really good fit. Over the past number of years our Charity Partner Lord's Taverners Ireland have supported various Irish Wheelchair Association projects and as a result of how well this went they have awarded IWA Sport Preferred Recipient Status. A previous RevUp event raised funds to purchase a minibus which was donated to one of their clubs previously so there’s a very strong relationship with them already as we know how well they do what they do. Both RevUp and Lord's Taverners Ireland have seen first-hand how both the clubs and individuals that have been supported to date have benefited and it is fantastic to be able to continue this support.

After two years of being grounded we expect that this years RevUp will be sold out quickly, so if you fancy taking a bit of time out over the coming May bank holiday point your browser at www.revup.ie where you can find all the sign on details and help us continue 'Giving Young People, particularly those with special needs, a sporting chance!"

Alternatively, if you cannot participate, please help by making a donation!

This event is a charitable challenge for motorcycle riders in aid of multiple charities chosen by the RevUp team.

A 1,000 km tour of Ireland with 3 days riding is the fun bit. Although this is a not an overly strenuous tour, the real challenge is to raise money for charity. The trip is not a race or a timed competition but a challenge for everybody participating.

All the roads used are public roads and accordingly subject to current legislation and the Road Traffic act.

The ride out is organised by Team RevUp who offer no special insurance to the riders or participants. Team RevUp and the Lords Taveners Ireland are not responsible for the participants’ action. All riders operate with their own risk and must take care of their personal property and themselves.
